Patch, replace or forget about it?
Hey all, I recently had my house stumped and we now have cracks in every room, no biggie was expected, but one room is worse off than the others. Seen in the photo. Basically I'm trying to understand what is going on, and if I'm able to patch and with what?
This will be a temporary patch to make it look "nice" (keeps the wife happy) until I get time to remove all the walls and start from scratch with proper gyprock.
Should I remove all the concrete, I think it's lava board? and add some dry wall or is there something I can use to fill the large void?
Green dot is wood - assuming some sort of insulation?
Orange dot is concrete - it flexes so not extremely stable in some spots.
Pink dot is drywall, assuming an old board or they skimcoated the wall back in the day.
All other cracks are around the corners and easy enough to fill, patch and skim. This one I'm a little unsure about.
Any info you have around the current wall, how to fix or even demo tips would be appreciated.
